About Eric
Most prominently known for his professional snowboarding career, multi-sport pro Eric Jackson grew up in the small mountain town of Crowley Lake, CA, where he learned how to snowboard and fly fish at a young age. Finding peace in nature, Eric and his brother spent most of their youth in the mountains, hiking around, finding lakes to fish and powder to ride. With the help of supportive parents, Eric was able to make a career as a professional snowboarder. At the age of 27, Eric now makes his home in Bellingham, WA., filming Transworld Snowboarding videos and landing main stem Skeena steelhead on dry flies. Some see Eric’s lifestyle as lucky, others say he’s blessed. Both are true, but at the end of the day, he’s just doing what makes him happy and hopes that inspires others to do the same.
During the rare down times, you’ll find Eric playing the banjo, surfing and golfing.
